Sunday News: Happy New Year Edition!

Happy New Year Dear Friends and Gentle Readers!

I am back from what has been yet another long hiatus ready to read, write, and edit up a storm in 2016. The last time you heard from me I was hard at work writing my novel in the midst of National Novel Writing Month. Well, Dear Friends and Gentle Readers, I am proud to report that I finished the thing! I won!

For the month of December I took a break from the novel and worked on revising some of my writing for the MFA packet that I will be submitting on February 15th. I will be working on that until then. I think that's a good thing. It will give the novel some time to breath. In the mean time, I also took some time away from the blog and my editing business in order to regroup and reorder my thinking. I feel that I am now able to return to the blog, and the business with a renewed sense of focus and I hope that will be reflected in what you find around here.

I will not be posting every day as I had tried to do before. Instead I will be posting a news update on Sunday Mornings, a blog post on Tuesdays, and a random piece of writing on Throwback Thursdays. I hope to bring in some guest writers over the course of the year as well. (Shelley Lloyd, I'm looking at you!) We will see what 2016 holds. I for one have high hopes for us all. I know that I plan to Write Like a Rock Star.
